Marui can always be expected to deliver high quality and stunning products, but every once in a while Marui does something totally unexpected. The SGR-12 is an electric powered, three-shot, semi-automatic shotgun, that can shoot full-auto as well! This technically unique package is wrapped in 4.5kg metal body, which makes the gun a very interesting piece of hardware.
Each barrel of the gun has their own individually adjusted hop-up, which can be accessed under the bolt cover. With this feature, you can control the scattering and impact pattern of the bb's. The motor and gearbox are completely newly designed and inside the gearbox there are three separate cylinders and pistons, that shoot out 30 bb's per second. The design of this gearbox causes also a faint feeling of recoil to appear while shooting.
The body of the gun is made out of matt coated metal and grip and stocks are made out of high-quality polymer plastic. There is a two-piece sight rail on the top of the gun, and there is also a mounting rail under the frame.
The front and rear sights are adjustable, flipup style and detachable. The front handle has M-Lock mountings and three different length of mounts are supplied with the gun. A sturdy magazine release can be used on both sides and the weapon is equipped with supportive metal sling mounts.
The battery is located at the back of the gun and it is recommended to use a 7.4V LiPo or 8.4V NiMh battery. The weapon has an internal FET that controls the flow of power when firing and prevents the electrical surfaces from burning. This also improves the trigger response.
The weapon comes with a 93 rd magazine, with a window on the side with 9 shotgun shells showing. As an option, a 3000 rd drum magazine is available, which is electrically powered. By pressing the button on the magazine, it automatically feeds the bb's to the gun and the entire 3000 rd capacity is at your disposal
