The world famous SPAS-12 was designed in the late 1970s by the Italian company Franchi S.p.A (a company in the BERETTA group) as a special purpose, military and police close combat weapon. The SPAS-12 is a dual-mode shotgun, adjustable for semi-automatic or pump-action operation. The SPAS-12 was sold to military and police users worldwide on the civilian market and has been featured in many movies, TV shows, and video games. ASG versions are modernized versions of the SPAS-12 shotgun and only work in pump-action (single shot or burst) mode.
This Sportline model, the Franchi SAS 12 3-burst, together with its little brother (Ref. 16261) is as real as it gets in Airsoft. The shotgun uses the realistic 30 BB shells and fires 3 rounds with each shot, adding to the realism of a ‘realsteel’ shotgun. The shells can be stored on the stock in the supplied cartridge stock-holster. Furthermore it weights over 2 kilo and with more than 1 meter in length and metal barrel this will impress most people.
The safety and the sleeve release are conveniently located within the reach of the trigger. The three-ball burst combined with a very high output speed makes the shotgun an effective tool in the right hands. The gun has a fixed Hop Up.
