Perhaps the most iconic out individual weapons in American history, the Colt Single Action Army (SAA) revolver or Peacemaker. "The gun that won the west" came to the market in 1873, and many legendary revolver heroes liked it, including Buffalo Bill, Bat Masterson and John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, etc. Teddy Roosevelt and General George S. Patton represent the upper class of people who have been fascinated by the Peacemaker revolver.
Umarex's Peacemaker is fully 1:1 with its design and dimensions when compared to the real weapon. The weapon weighs the correct ammount of the revolver and it is single action, so the hammer must first be pulled back, after which pulling the trigger releases the hammer and the gun shoots. The movement of the hammer also rotates the revolver cylinder.
Unlike the modern revolvers, the revolver's cylinder does not open, but the bullets are loaded individually through the charging hole on the right side of the gun. The gun has a functioning ejector to remove catriges and reload the bullets. Under the frame, there is a safety in hidden position.
If something negative about these revolvers comes up, then it's the flawless finish. Silver versions are beautifully nickel-coated and black versions that are blue-lined mirror in incredibly deep and vibrant blue tones. The real revolvers in 1873 had certainly not been so spectacular and untouched, but no one could ever dream of one at that time.
This version shoots the 4.5mm metal BB.
